Customers in the Philippines who ordered a Tesla Model Y will now receive the upgraded “Juniper” version when deliveries begin.
Latest reports from the Philippines indicate that Model 3 deliveries are set to start this month, while Model Y deliveries are expected to kick off in April.
As an added bonus, Tesla Philippines will upgrade orders for the Deep Blue Metallic exterior to the new Glacier Blue at no extra cost.
Vehicles Coming from Giga Shanghai
The Tesla vehicles headed to the Philippines will be manufactured at Giga Shanghai.
Tesla China’s configuration page indicates that “Juniper” deliveries in China are scheduled to begin in March, pending regulatory approval.

Tesla is also working to make buying a car easier. The company has teamed up with several banks across the Philippines.
According to reports, even smaller rural banks outside Metro Manila are now accepted for financing.
