    Supercharger FAQ

How many Tesla Superchargers are there?

Our map lists 6,522 open Supercharger locations with 72,932 stalls across 61 countries and regions; United States has the most with 3,434. The numbers are refreshed daily.

How do I find a Supercharger near me?

Type a city, address or ZIP code into the search box, tap “Use my location”, or tap one of the popular cities. The list beside the map shows the closest chargers first, with stall counts and speeds. Every charger has its own page with directions.

    What do V2, V3 and V4 mean?

They are generations of Tesla charging hardware. V2 stalls deliver up to about 150 kW, V3 up to about 250 kW and V4 up to about 325 kW. Charger pages show a “likely” generation estimated from the top speed, so treat it as a guide.

    Can I charge a non-Tesla EV at a Supercharger?

It depends on the site and your vehicle. Many sites are open to other EVs through Tesla’s app, but access varies by location, so check the charger’s page and the Tesla app before you go.

Where does this data come from, and how current is it?

We combine OpenStreetMap, the U.S. Department of Energy’s Alternative Fuels Data Center and the supercharge.info community feed, and sync every day. Sites that stop appearing are flagged as unconfirmed. Always confirm availability in your car before a long trip.
