Tesla’s latest autonomous vehicle, the Cybercab, has made its appearance at the company’s Gigafactory Texas, where it was spotted giving employees demonstration rides in the facility’s parking lot.

Recent footage from the Texas facility shows the two-seat autonomous vehicle not only on display but actively operating on the premises. The Cybercab was prominently positioned at the factory’s main entrance, drawing attention from employees and visitors alike.

Unlike the models presented at the initial unveiling event, this particular Cybercab features exposed wheels and brake calipers, departing from the gold-covered versions previously shown.

Drone photographer Joe Tegtmeyer captured aerial footage of the vehicle, documenting moments where employees gathered to examine the innovative autonomous transport.

During Tesla’s recent Q3 earnings call, CEO Elon Musk announced ambitious production targets for the Cybercab.

The company aims to achieve a volume production of two million units annually by 2026. Additionally, Tesla introduced a new wireless charging system for the Cybercab, boasting an impressive efficiency rating exceeding 90 percent.

This charging capability will function autonomously, adding another layer of automation to the vehicle’s features.

The Cybercab’s appearance at Giga Texas represents another step forward in Tesla’s autonomous vehicle program, showcasing the company’s commitment to developing innovative transportation solutions.

The demonstration rides and employee interactions suggest that testing and development are progressing as the company moves toward its production goals.
