Owners driving Tesla’s Full Self-Driving v14 are finding real improvements in day-to-day use. Experiences show that parking and garage handling, two areas needing work in past versions, are better with this update. Users sharing feedback online point out things are smoother and more accurate than before.

Parking garages

Tesla’s FSD v14 now can handle parking garages in a way that feels more natural. One owner reports the car leaves a parking space, moves through the garage, waits for ticket input, and exits, all without direct driver control.

The car makes small shifts at ticket stations, lining up for easier ticket access and then moving back into the lane when finished. This feels intuitive, making simple actions like entering and leaving garages less stressful.

Arrival options

The latest update lets drivers pick from several parking locations, parking lot, street, driveway, garage, or curbside when arriving at a destination. FSD remembers your choices for each spot. For instance, one owner had the car enter a gravel driveway and then the garage; earlier versions struggled with this. FSD v14 handled both without trouble, signaling improved precision and reliability.

Owners say these changes address key issues and make the software feel smarter. Most expect more tweaks and features over the coming weeks as Tesla collects more feedback and learns from real driving.

Also, Tesla’s Optimus robot now can use the FSD dataset to drive cars beyond Tesla’s lineup, according to comments from Elon Musk. That means the robot could act as an assistant or even operate any car, not just Teslas.

Musk’s other company, xAI, is changing things in Memphis. In just a year, it became the city’s second largest taxpayer, investing in AI infrastructure and large computing clusters.

In addition to FSD V14.1 release, Tesla has teased a new product, with guesses ranging from Roadster updates to a new affordable vehicle. The announcement is expected soon.
