A Tesla Cybertruck was recently spotted as part of U.S. President-elect Donald Trump’s motorcade during his visit to Starbase, Texas.
The trip was centered around observing the sixth flight test of SpaceX’s Starship, a spacecraft designed to be reusable like commercial airplanes.
The Cybertruck’s inclusion in the convoy quickly garnered attention on the social media platform X, with videos showing the Cybertruck trailing near the rear of the president-elect’s motorcade.

Unsurprisingly, the Cybertruck stood out among the more conventional vehicles in the convoy.

Despite ongoing debates around electric vehicles, the sight of the Cybertruck in Trump’s motorcade was widely appreciated online.
Some X users even imagined how impressive a full presidential convoy of Cybertrucks would look.
President-elect Trump appeared enthusiastic about witnessing the Starship flight test.
In a prior post on X, he mentioned heading to Texas to “watch the launch of the largest object ever to be elevated, not only to Space, but simply by lifting off the ground.”
He also extended his support to Elon Musk and the “Great Patriots involved in this incredible project.”
During the visit, Trump was accompanied by notable officials, including Senator Ted Cruz (R-Texas) and Linda McMahon, who was recently appointed U.S. Secretary of Education.
The Starship test itself brought excitement as SpaceX opted to land the Super Heavy booster in the Gulf of Mexico rather than using the Mechazilla tower’s arms for recovery, adding another milestone to the company’s ambitious development timeline.
The Cybertruck’s appearance in such a high-profile event further cemented its position as a symbol of technological innovation and futuristic design.
