Tesla is enhancing charging technology for its Cybertruck, with faster charging options at select Supercharger sites before the rollout of V4 charging cabinets in early 2025.
The company’s Charging account on X announced that Cybertrucks can now charge at speeds up to 325kW at specific Supercharger sites.
Max de Zegher, Tesla’s North American Charging Director, further confirmed that these charging speeds would soon be available at more locations, potentially within weeks.
Currently, Cybertrucks are charging at 400v with 325kW speeds, with plans to fully utilize their 800v charging architecture once V4 cabinets are fully implemented.
The following locations currently support these high-speed charging capabilities:
- Lebec, CA
- Chemult, OR
- Columbus, GA – Macon Road
- Dayton, OH – North Springboro Pike
- Dunnigan, CA – County Road
- Lamoni, IA
- Wilsonville, OR
- Truckee, CA – Deerfield Drive
- Harrison, NY
- Farr West, UT
- Tacoma, WA – S 40th Street
- Highland, CA – 4154 E Highland Ave
- Melissa, TX
- Cedar Park, TX – East Whitestone Boulevard
- Gillette, WY – South Douglas Highway
- Rockaway, NJ – Green Pond Road
- Mesa, AZ – South Signal Butte Road
- Blaine, WA – Boblett Street

Tesla has been quietly rolling out upgraded V4 Superchargers throughout North America since last year.
In August, the company confirmed trials of faster charging speeds at select locations, indicating imminent improvements.
A notable innovation in Tesla’s charging infrastructure is the use of prefabricated charging units manufactured at the Buffalo, New York Gigafactory.
These pre-built units, which include four charging stalls, can be delivered and installed in just four days.
De Zegher noted that the cost savings from this approach would ultimately benefit customers, aligning with recent price reductions in North American and European markets.
The company is preparing for a full rollout of V4 charging cabinets in early 2025, which will potentially enable charging speeds up to 500kW.
