Tesla found a problem stopping some cars from updating to newer FSD versions. A fix is on the way.
The Issue
Some AI 4 vehicles running FSD V13.2.2 can’t update to newer versions like V13.2.4 or V13.2.6.
Tesla usually catches bugs early, but this one slipped through. To prevent more cars from being affected, Tesla likely paused the rollout.
Many owners have noticed they haven’t received an update since late December or early January.
That’s not too unusual, but this time, the issue is tied to version 2024.45.25.5. It blocks updates to newer builds.
The Fix
Tesla engineer Kalena Brown confirmed they are working on a solution.

It may take a couple of weeks, and Tesla will release it gradually to make sure everything works.
This only affects cars on FSD V13.2.2. If you’re on another version, you don’t need to worry.
Stay tuned for updates when Tesla rolls out the fix.
