Reports suggest that futuristic vehicles equipped with machine guns are being deployed by Russian forces in what they term the “special military operation” in Ukraine.
Ramzan Kadyrov, the leader of Chechnya, recently announced:
“Two more Cybertrucks have been sent to the zone of the special military operation. Western technology performs well against its own Western ‘Ukronazis.’ Mobility, convenience, maneuverability—such qualities of the electric vehicle are highly valued here. Remote deactivation has not affected them. The machines are operating normally without failures.”
This statement follows a video Kadyrov shared in August, showcasing himself driving a Cybertruck fitted with a machine gun turret around his palace grounds. In the video, he wore an ammunition belt while posing in front of the weapon.

During that demonstration, Kadyrov declared that the vehicle would be sent to the Donbas frontlines and expressed anticipation for more innovations from Tesla’s founder, Elon Musk, potentially for use in Russia’s campaign against Ukraine.
As of now, Tesla has not commented on the alleged use of its vehicles in the conflict. The extent to which these Cybertrucks are actually being utilized in the war zone remains unverified.
