Amazon’s Past Response to Similar Incidents
Amazon hasn’t commented on this case. Back in 2020, a delivery worker in Los Angeles got caught spitting on a package during the pandemic. Amazon said then that it didn’t reflect their drivers and promised to look into it, even suggesting police might step in. No word yet on what they’ll do here.
Tesla’s sentry mode records when it senses trouble around the car. This incident got people on social talking about workplace rules and how people treat Tesla cars. Lately, some have targeted Tesla property, possibly tied to Elon Musk’s political moves.
Right now, Broomfield cops haven’t said anything about an investigation. Efforts to get a statement from Amazon haven’t worked yet.
