Tesla has started its first V4 Supercharger site in Beijing. You can find it at Pinggu Wanda Plaza. Six charging stalls are available. This is the first V4 station in China.
Tesla’s new V4 Supercharger at Pinggu Wanda Plaza offers a charging output of up to 500 kW for cars that support it. Cables are now longer, about 10 feet, so different electric vehicles can reach the charger more easily. The V4 stations support Tesla cars and other EV brands. Drivers pay directly at the charging stall with cards or digital wallets. No app is needed if you don’t want it.

The V4 stations work with battery voltages from 400V to 1,000V. Up to eight cars can use one cabinet at a time, with the system able to share a total output up to 1.2 MW. The chargers include safety features like automatic locking, overheating controls, and added waterproofing. They can operate even when submerged in deep water.
Expansion across China
Tesla runs more than 2,100 charging stations, adding up to over 11,600 stalls in China. The V4 units started appearing this summer in cities such as Shanghai, and more locations are planned. At Pinggu Wanda Plaza, drivers can charge while they shop or relax.
BYD and other local EV brands are rolling out even faster chargers, with peak power at 1,000 kW. Tesla’s network is larger and well-established, which makes it important for everyday users.
Cost and convenience
Each new V4 stall costs under $40,000 to build. The longer cables, upgraded power sharing, and wider car compatibility give the station an advantage in Beijing.
Tesla’s V4 Supercharger in Beijing sets a new standard for charging speed and ease of use.
