Tesla makes entertainment easier on the road

Tesla released software update 2025.32.3.1 this week. Owners with AMD infotainment units now get better Bluetooth audio sync. Before the update, audio delays could reach one or two seconds. The lag was worst when watching videos on a phone or tablet. Now, play, pause, and other buttons work faster. Video and audio sync is much closer than before.

Why Bluetooth lag was a problem

Most drivers never noticed a delay when streaming music. But for anyone watching a video, audio and video did not match. The issue only affected Teslas with AMD chips. Older units with Intel chips did not have the same problem. Owners often used workarounds, such as Bluetooth FM transmitters, but those hurt sound quality.

Other fixes in update 2025.32

The update improves more than just Bluetooth. Tesla fixed a longstanding security problem with “PIN to Drive.”

Drivers can now start Full Self-Driving from Park while keeping the PIN to Drive feature active. A new safety tool for Model Y uses car cameras to control airbag deployment for better protection. Low Power Mode now helps all Teslas save battery when parked for long periods.

Feedback from Tesla owners is positive. Many say the new update has removed the delay. Video streaming in the car is now smooth. The change is a big relief for drivers who often use their car for entertainment during charging stops.

This update is important for anyone with an AMD-powered Tesla. It fixes a problem that made Bluetooth video streaming hard to use. Tesla’s ability to deliver software updates keeps cars up to date and makes the driving experience better.
