Tesla Cybercab Testing Intensifies at Giga Texas Facility

Tesla is expanding Cybercab testing near its Giga Texas complex. Recent aerial footage by Joe Tegtmeyer shows multiple autonomous vehicles in action.

The self-driving robotaxis are conducting test routes across multiple areas, including the east side of the highway, the “Cyberpond” area, and near Giga Texas’ prominent “Fork” display.

During each test, a Model 3 follows the Cybercab. Observers have seen Cybercabs drive smoothly and react well to people and other cars, much like human drivers.

Tesla is actively promoting the Cybercab through an extensive tour strategy, The robotaxi is currently:

The Cybercab represents Tesla’s first purpose-built full self-driving vehicle, featuring innovative design characteristics:

Tesla has achieved remarkable engineering efficiency with the Cybercab, constructing a vehicle with approximately half the parts of a Tesla Model 3.

This design represents a significant advancement in automotive manufacturing simplicity and complexity reduction.
