Elon Musk says Tesla is working on a big reveal. He posted on X (formerly Twitter) that the company will show its “most epic demo ever” before the year ends. He shared the update after visiting Tesla’s design studio in Hawthorne, California.
Musk wrote: “Just left the Tesla design studio. Most epic demo ever by end of year. Ever.”

He didn’t say what the demo is. But the post has led to guesses from fans and industry watchers. Many believe it could be the return of the next-generation Roadster. Tesla first showed the Roadster in 2017. Since then, production has been delayed multiple times. Musk recently said the new Roadster could go from 0 to 60 mph in under one second if paired with SpaceX hardware.
If this is true, it could put Tesla back in the lead. Right now, cars like the Lucid Air Sapphire and Xiaomi’s SU7 Ultra have started to outpace Tesla’s fastest model, the Model S Plaid. These newer cars have more power and range. A new Roadster would be a way for Tesla to compete with them again.
Back in February, Musk said on X that Tesla finished the Roadster’s design and aimed to ship it in 2025. He added that production would take place in California.
Whether or not the demo is about the Roadster, Musk’s latest post suggests Tesla plans to show something major soon. And with his choice of words, it seems the company wants to make a strong impression.
