The vehicle follows the pattern of previous sightings, with its entire front and rear ends completely covered.
It was black-painted and equipped with Gemini Dark Wheels, which are known for optimizing range.
The prototype keeps stoking rumors that a Juniper update is on the horizon.
Both Tesla and CEO Elon Musk have remained notably tight-lipped about potential Juniper updates.
The Model Y was the best-selling car in the world last year and is Tesla’s top seller. But, Strangely, there’s so much secrecy around this potential update.
Prototype sightings have been frequent:
- Several countries have reported seeing camouflaged prototypes over the past few months.
- A leaked image from China hinted at a possible back trunk with a red light bar.
- Reports from China suggest a strategic rollout plan:
- A five-seat model might debut in the first quarter of 2025.
- A seven-seat version could be released in Q4 2025.
There is a lot of weight behind the possible update.
Even with its current design, the Model Y still performs better in China than the Model 3.
An updated version could potentially drive even more impressive sales figures.
