A Tesla Cybertruck involved in the January fireworks ignition outside the Trump Las Vegas hotel has surfaced on an online vehicle auction platform.

Cybertruck Explosion in Las Vegas
In January, a rented Cybertruck was loaded with fireworks and set on fire outside the Trump Las Vegas hotel. Authorities investigated it as a possible act of terrorism.
Reports showed the truck had been loaded with incendiary materials, which caused the blast.
Musk Comments on Cybertruck’s Strength
Video footage showed the Cybertruck directing the explosion upward, reducing damage to nearby areas. The truck bed remained mostly intact.
Elon Musk later pointed out that the Cybertruck’s battery never caught fire. He said Tesla planned to repair the truck and put it back on the road. Many saw this as a challenge, proving the vehicle’s durability.
Cybertruck Appears at Auction
Recently, Tesla fans spotted the Cybertruck on IAA’s auction website. This suggests Tesla did not take back the vehicle after the explosion. The listing states that the truck is “not ready for sale” yet. No auction date has been assigned.

It’s unclear why the truck ended up on IAA’s site. Tesla might still retrieve it, possibly as proof of how well the Cybertruck held up under extreme conditions.
