A man smashed a Tesla Model Y with a suitcase at the Ontario Airport Parking Lot in California. The attack caused about $3,000 in damage. It happened not long ago, and a video caught the whole thing.

The incident happened at the Ontario Airport Parking Lot in Ontario, California.

But the police haven’t figured out who he is yet. They’re still working on it as of March 19, 2025. No official word from the cops has come out, so everyone’s waiting for updates.
Sentry Mode Gets Attention
Tesla’s Sentry Mode is a system that records what’s happening around the car. People on X say it’s great for catching vandals. One person wrote,
“I almost want to buy a Tesla just to catch some of these people.”
It’s clear some are fed up but like the tech.
Part of a Bigger Problem
Tesla vehicles have been hit in other places across the U.S. too. No one’s saying this attack connects to those, though. The guy who did this is still out there. The busted-up Tesla Model Y shows how tough it can be for electric car owners in public spots. Police are asking anyone with info to step up while they keep looking.
