Tesla Diner in Hollywood will hold a private Dia de los Muertos celebration on Saturday, November 1, 2025. The event, called “Tesla Mezcal Night,” will take place from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. on the diner’s rooftop Skypad at 7001 Santa Monica Boulevard.
The six-hour event is reserved for Tesla owners and is limited to adults over 21. Tickets are $140.56, and includes three drinks available only to Tesla owners. Early entry from 5 to 7:45 pm or late entry from 8:15 to 11 pm.
Activities and features
The Skypad will come alive with a live DJ, decorations inspired by traditional Mexican artistry, and an evening of entertainment. Guests can enjoy a full dinner service featuring tamales from “Tamales by Elena,” beverages with Tesla Mezcal, and activities like face painting and outdoor film screenings. The event brings together traditional culture and Tesla’s high-tech atmosphere.
Tesla will use AI-driven management to support the event. The system handles check-ins, guest tracking, and personalized experiences for attendees. It even manages sound and lighting changes during the night. Tesla has been working to link its AI platform to customer experiences outside the car business, and events like this are part of that plan.
Tesla Mezcal and Tamales by Elena
The signature drink of the night is Tesla Mezcal, a limited-release artisanal spirit made with Espadín and Bicuishe agaves. It comes in a lightning bolt-shaped bottle designed by Tesla’s Director of Product Design, Javier Verdura. The mezcal features citrus and floral notes with a smoky finish. A bottle costs around $450, and it’s made using traditional Oaxacan distilling methods.
Dinner will highlight “Tamales by Elena,” an Afro-Mexican business based in Watts. The group is known for tamales wrapped in corn husks or banana leaves, filled with meat, cheese, or vegetables. The family-run operation has earned recognition for preserving recipes from Guerrero, Mexico.
Tesla Diner has become one of Los Angeles’s most unique attractions since its opening in July 2025. The two-story site includes a 250-seat diner, the Skypad rooftop, and the city’s largest charging station with 80 Supercharger stalls. The restaurant serves classic diner meals created by chef Eric Greenspan.
The Dia de los Muertos party follows Tesla’s “Frunk or Treat” Halloween event on October 31, and for those attending, it’s a chance to honor tradition in a setting grounded in design, technology, and connection.
