In his words,

“A few days ago, our Cybertruck saved my life and the life of my 5-year-old daughter. We were T-boned by a drunk driver who ran a red light going 60 miles per hour.”

Moreover, he said police at the scene told him,

“If you had been in any other vehicle, the car would’ve flipped and been torn in half.”

The father thanked the truck’s tough build. He plans to buy a new Cyberbeast model soon. He even told people to get a Tesla if they care about their family’s safety.

“If you love your family, buy a Tesla,”

Cybertruck owner wrote.

The truck’s steel frame bent on the driver’s side but didn’t collapse. That lines up with what the father said about it holding strong.

Cybertruck’s Design Explained

Tesla rolled out the Cybertruck in 2023. It has a steel exoskeleton that they call nearly unbreakable. The company says it’s built for top durability and to keep passengers safe.

The battery pack sits low, keeping the truck steady. Its stiff frame aims to handle crashes well. The Tesla Cybertruck has received a five-star overall safety rating from the NHTSA.

Online Reaction Grows

The X post took off fast. X user, @PTrubey, wrote that,

“A 60 mph T-bone would absolutely have destroyed any other car. Amazing, there is so little damage to the cyber truck.”

Tesla fans online were glad the family made it. X user @cybrtrkguy wrote,

“That truck served its purpose, keeping y’all safe. Glad you guys are all good!”
