Tesla’s latest app update 4.51.0 gives energy product owners some cool live weather visuals. This update introduces real-time weather visualizations, expanded gifting capabilities, full Hebrew language support, and improved key card guidance.
Weather visuals

This is the introduction of beautifully animated weather visualizations in the Tesla Home section.
Users can now see real time weather conditions with animated clouds, rain, falling snow, and the sun moving across the sky throughout the day, based on time.
Gift gifting directly from the app
Tesla now lets people send gifts through the app. After you add an item from the Tesla Shop to your cart, you can check out as a gift. Just enter the recipient’s name, email, and a note if you want and you can also add a gift bag to the order for $5.
Buyers can choose to have the item shipped to themselves or directly to the recipient. Tesla has mentioned bringing Full Self-Driving (FSD) subscriptions as a gift as well, but it’s not available as a gift card just yet.
Hebrew option for more users

Tesla built a right-to-left interface so users in Israel. Now, Hebrew-speaking locations can use the app in their language. The work needed for Hebrew is more complex than just translating words. Past updates brought Hebrew to vehicle software, but this marks the first time for the app. As a result, Tesla more fully serves customers in Israel and the U.S. where many Hebrew speakers live.β
New key card instructions
If you use the key card to start your vehicle, the app now gives a better animation for where to place it. The new illustration removes guesswork so people understand how to start their car with the card.
What else is new
Earlier updates this month improved energy controls. Tesla added a new Charging tab to the app, helping users pick different vehicle power settings for better battery management. These controls like Low Power Mode let owners use less energy while parked. The app still covers all the basics, such as starting climate control, locking the car, or checking location. Itβs the main tool for controlling many Tesla features, and the company keeps adding more.
