Massachusetts Family Considers Move After Threats Over Tesla Cybertruck

A Tesla Cybertruck owner in Massachusetts is thinking of moving with his wife and three kids because of the harassment and threats he’s facing over his vehicle.

The owner, Dr. Kumait Jaroje, says the negative reactions to his Cybertruck got worse after Tesla CEO Elon Musk publicly supported former U.S. President Donald Trump.

About the Cybertruck

Dr. Jaroje wrapped his Cybertruck in gold to advertise his medical spa business. But after Musk’s support for Trump and his involvement with DOGE (Department of Government Efficiency), the vehicle, and Dr. Jaroje himself – became targets for abuse.

“The salute happened, Musk, during the inauguration of Trump, and that’s when everything went crazy,”

Dr. Jaroje told NBC 10 Boston.

The threats

At first, people pointed at his truck or gave him thumbs down. Then it escalated to yelling, middle fingers, and even cutting him off in traffic.

Earlier this month, someone put a “Nazis F**k Off” sticker on his Cybertruck.

Clients have started canceling appointments at his spa because of his association with Musk and Tesla. His social media is also flooded with hateful messages.

Dr. Jaroje shared a voice message he received:

“Please do the world a favor and put a bullet right between your tiny brain.”

Another message warned,

“Oh, you better watch out because somebody someday will cut you off, and a bad guy will have a gun.”

Thinking about moving

Dr. Jaroje is an immigrant from Syria who left his home country because of violence. Now, he’s considering leaving Massachusetts with his family because of the abuse.

“I remember President Trump saying, ‘Fight, fight, fight,’ you know. Is it fair for me to just eradicate my roots from here and take my kids away?”

he said.

You can watch Dr. Jaroje’s interview with NBC 10 Boston below.

  1. The Cybertruck is arguably the worst truck ever made, and Elon might be the worst human being ever, but nobody should have to face threats of violence for a purchase decision.

  2. Apparently just driving a certain vehicle these days somehow opens you up to hate and threats from people who cant think on their own. Certainly doesn’t seem like the land of the free…
