Tesla Semi Tested with Twin Tandem Trailers for the First Time

The Tesla Semi, Tesla’s Class 8 all-electric truck, is still in early production stages.

However, recent sightings indicate the company is testing innovative configurations for the vehicle.

Tesla Semi advocate Zanegler recently shared a video of the truck being tested in Nevada with twin tandem trailers.

This configuration consists of two trailers being pulled by a single truck, allowing for more efficient transportation of various goods.

This sighting marks the first known instance of Tesla testing twin tandem trailers with the Semi.

The advocate noted that Nevada regulations even permit the use of triple trailers, hinting at potential future testing with this configuration.
