Tesla’s CFO, Vaibhav Taneja, hinted at several new products coming this year. One of them could be the more affordable Tesla model, which is expected alongside the Cybercab.
“We’ll introduce several new products in 2025. We’re still on track to launch a cheaper model in the first half of 2025 and will keep expanding our lineup”
Taneja said.
Tesla was rumored to reveal a new car prototype with the Cybercab, often called the Model 2.
Unlike the Robotaxi EV, the Model 2 was said to have a steering wheel for drivers.
Before Tesla’s “We, Robot” event, analyst Gene Munster suggested the Model 2 might be a simpler version of the Model 3.
As for other products, Elon Musk has mentioned ideas like a Tesla van and an HVAC system.
“We believe our current lineup is the best in the industry, and it will only get better. All our products come with top software, autonomy features, and the potential for full self-driving in the future. Despite the premium experience, the total cost of ownership is close to less expensive competitors”
Taneja added.
