Tesla Expanding Autopark Rollout for Cybertruck Owners

Posted on

Tesla is set to expand the availability of its Autopark feature to a broader group of Cybertruck owners. This comes after an initial limited release to select users earlier this month.

According to reports from Teslascope, Tesla has already deployed two preliminary versions of Autopark for the Cybertruck to a small group of testers. Now, the company is preparing for a wider release to regular Cybertruck customers.

The latest software update, version 2024.32.5.3, which includes the Autopark feature, has been observed on a handful of vehicles so far. Cybertruck owners who have purchased or subscribed to Full Self-Driving (FSD) (Supervised) may receive the update in the coming days.

Autopark enables automatic parking and parallel parking in certain areas. Users can activate the feature by stopping near a parking spot and selecting from highlighted spaces. Tesla emphasizes that drivers must remain alert and ready to take control when using Autopark and other Autopilot features.

While FSD Supervised is not yet available for the Cybertruck, Tesla announced last month that parking assistance features would be the first to debut for this electric vehicle. The company’s AI team recently shared a roadmap indicating plans to launch FSD Supervised on the Cybertruck this month.

In related news, Tesla has also been rolling out its Actually Smart Summon (ASS) feature, allowing drivers to remotely summon their vehicles from parking spaces using the mobile app. Early reviews of ASS have been largely positive, showcasing impressive capabilities.
