Tesla launches “Future Holidays” FSD ride-along event

Tesla Europe is running a “Future Holidays” event series in the Netherlands that centers on Full Self‑Driving (Supervised) ride‑along experiences. The program is set up as a festive holiday event, but it also gives visitors a clear look at how FSD behaves on real roads from the passenger seat.

At the heart of the event are FSD (Supervised) ride‑alongs in Tesla vehicles. Guests sit in the passenger seat while a trained Tesla employee drives with FSD engaged, so people can watch how the system reacts to traffic, intersections, roundabouts, and lane changes without having to operate the car themselves.

Tesla announced the campaign through its Europe & Middle East account on X with the invitation: “Come get in the spirit with us. Featuring Caraoke, FSD Supervised ride-along experiences, holiday light shows with our S3XY lineup & more.”

The Netherlands event is part of this broader “Future Holidays” series and is being promoted as a seasonal experience that blends entertainment with live technology demos.

Extra activities

The official event page lists several activities beyond the ride‑alongs. Guests can take part in Caraoke sessions inside Tesla cars, using the in‑car audio system to sing along while parked at the venue. There are also coordinated light shows where multiple S3XY vehicles run synchronized animations with their headlights, taillights, and indicators as part of the holiday theme.

A key draw is the planned presence of the Optimus humanoid robot. Tesla says the robot will be in “full party spirit,” and some stores and centers in Europe are running “Spot the Bot” contests where visitors who find Optimus can win prizes. The company highlights this in its event description: “This season, we’re introducing you to the fun of the future. Register for our holiday events to meet our robots, see if you can spot the Bot to win prizes, and check out our selection of exclusive merchandise and limited-edition gifts”.

Holiday atmosphere and registration

The “Future Holidays” branding is used across several European Tesla centers, including Dutch locations. Event pages invite guests to sign up in advance and describe a festive setup with snacks, drinks, Christmas cookies, warm punch, and music, along with test drives and family‑oriented activities like Cyberquad experiences and small gift bags for children at some sites.

Tesla positions the Netherlands event as a chance to “discover what makes the future so festive,” combining holiday decorations, entertainment, and hands‑on time with current Tesla models ready for immediate delivery. Visitors can walk through the showroom, see different configurations, and then step into an FSD ride‑along to see how the software handles real‑world driving.

People interested in the “Future Holidays” event are asked to register through Tesla’s event portal. The listings give dates, time windows, and addresses for each participating location, such as Tesla centers in Dutch cities and nearby European sites.
