Tesla confirms complete FSD v14.1 for Cybertruck

Tesla’s Full Self-Driving version 14.1 went live this week. The first cars to get the update had Hardware 4.0. Cybertruck owners are still waiting, but Tesla’s AI chief said, “We got you. Coming soon.” The holdup comes from the Cybertruck’s all-wheel steering. Elon Musk said, “The all-wheel steering of Cybertruck requires a bit more Autopilot training.” So the update isn’t ready yet for that model.

Cybertruck drivers will get the full set of features, not a limited version. The new FSD brings advanced self-parking and reversing. Earlier Cybertruck FSD releases didn’t have these options, but they’re included this time. All Cybertruck owners will get these abilities when the update hits their trucks.

People with the new FSD have tested out key improvements. Now cars can move through parking garages without trouble. The car can stop to pay for a parking ticket, pick an open spot, and handle tight lanes. FSD lets owners pick the exact parking style at the end of their trip, lot, street, driveway, garage, or curb. FSD even remembers parking choices at regular stops.

Also, Tesla added a new driving mode called Sloth. It goes slower than Chill mode and makes the car more cautious in traffic. Drivers can choose Sloth, Chill, Standard, or Hurry to fit their comfort and local speed limits.

The latest update doesn’t stop with parking and speed tweaks. FSD v14.1 now includes better detection and yielding for emergency vehicles, improved navigation with route changes, smoother moves through unprotected turns, and fixes for road debris.

However, Tesla hasn’t said a date yet for Cybertruck owners, but more updates are coming in the next few weeks. When Cybertruck gets FSD v14.1, all features will be live, not just a partial set. As the software reaches more drivers, Tesla plans several follow-on updates with more features through the end of the year.
