Police say Kim threw Molotov cocktails at Tesla vehicles parked outside. Fires started and burned at least three cars.

Someone also spray-painted “resist” on the building’s doors. This hints at anger toward Tesla. The police might look at it as domestic terrorism.

Kim got caught soon after. Surveillance video and fast work by local and federal police helped. He’s charged with arson, having explosives illegally, property damage, and shooting a gun. If found guilty, he could spend years in prison.

Tesla thanked the police for acting quickly. They said keeping customers and workers safe matters most. The attack has Tesla owners worried. People wonder why someone would do this.

Police are still determining whether Kim worked alone or with others. They are asking people to report anything odd related to this case.
